CROOKED.. WATCH OUT !!! Had my card charged $269 for a 10 mile rental. Guy at counter estimated a 85 mile rental, I told him only 10 miles. he changed my paperwork to 25 miles, but still ran it thru for 85 mile. I also DECLINED all insurance online when I made reservation, he tried to run it thru with all coverages selected. Truck mileage was off by 7 miles, he wasn't concerned, but that was another $5.60 I was being duped out of. Supposed to be a $150 hold on credit card, I was charged $269 for a $55rental. Had to wait 6 days for refund of $214, meanwhile I couldnt access my funds or rent a truck 3 days later. A $16 pair of gloves(original price tag) was in the clearance bin, he claimed they were $30 and he would give me a good deal on them for $22. haha, clearance item for $6 more then regular price. WATCH YOUR CHARGES, CHECK YOUR MILEAGE ! also it was snowy and cold, they didnt even warm up the truck, or scrape the ice off the windshield, we did. 1st time renting from PENSKE, not sure I will try again.. 40 rentals last yr
